1. Feer & Greed Index
We’ve definitely entered into an extremely greedy phase of the market.
Only 4 other times the index has been above 70 for more than 30 days.
2. Avalanche: the importance of investing in narratives
AVAX is a good example of a token that is pumping at the time of the writing (up 50% in the past week and 126% in the 30 days), because of an upcoming catalyst (GameFi).
In fact, during the past 2 years, Avalanche chose to bet big on GameFi (Big 2021 Narrative), partnering with several big gaming projects and building infrastructure that addresses their needs.
Now many of the projects that have been building on Avalanche are getting ready to launch their games in the coming months, and this led to a big pump in AVAX price.
3. TLV
TVL has started to increase significantly in the last two months (+25%).
But, going back to December 2020, at the beginning of a X5 Crypto Market Cap Bull Market, we’d been experienced a 20x TVL growth year over year, while today we are only at +20%.
4. Altcoins are losing ground (vs BTC)
Usually when bitcoin is in a bull market phase, its dominance tends to decline.
But now it’s not the case: altcoin dominance have decreased over the past 7, 30 and 365 days as you can see below, on the right:
